Responsible for all ranch operations on the Smith/Walker Integrated Beef Unit property. Keeping detailed records on forage standing crop, animal health, supplementation, pasture use, breeding activity, and calving activity for the beef cattle nutritional research program. As well as, developing databases for statistical analysis, technical papers, and presentations. Manage full-time and temporary personnel in field research activities.

Conducted my research and worked closely with all other aspects of the forage science research program. Departmental research included warm and cool season, annual and perennial forbs and legumes, determining forage yield, quality, animal selectivity, and persistence. As well as wildlife food plot research.
