| Dr. Lambert teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of Animal Science and Ruminant Nutrition at Tarleton State University. Dr. Lambert holds a 25% research appointment at the Texas AgriLife Research and Extension Center, where he conducts research in the area of nutrient management and calf nutrition. He also serves as the faculty advisor for the Tarleton State University Dairy club and Block and Bridle club.
His research interests include nutrient management from a nutritional, as well as an environmental standpoint. Also, Dr. Lambert is interested in using stable isotopes in ruminant animals to determine protein and amino acid requirements.
