If a condenser unit could be manufactured with copper fins in addition to copper coils, an even cleaner systems would be the result. In this photo the fins and coils are both aluminum. Copper condensate catching pans would also be helpful. Algae control results in a system less likely to clog and overflow. Without overflow there is no water and this point source for mold growth is eliminated.
