    2001 Field Trial Data
Plant disease control efforts in 2001 were again comparable to previous years. The heat and summer drought again took it´s toll on Texas crops. Conditions were not nearly so bad as 2000, and consequently these reported results are considerably more definitive. Seedling disease control and Sclerotinia control plots produced the best data. Late August rains across Texas did much to enhance yields without excessive disease developments. Certain plots displayed excellent returns above untreated checks even in the absence of detectable diseases. Overall plant health maintenance is important. The plot in Eastland County shows what can be expected in Central Texas fields following a three year rotation. The subtle differences displayed in this data should be carefully examined as decisions for future years are made.
